November Update

Hi legends! We've loved seeing the donations roll in this giving cycle, and it's getting to the time of the year where we put that money to great use by selecting a partner! Here are some key updates from our team.

We've raised almost $30,000 as a community so far!

We should be in a position to give about $13-14k to our giving cycle 3 partner (after $8k and $11k donations in our first 2 giving cycles!)

Our Partner applications are now open, and will close on December 4.

We are working hard to bring together a range of applicants who will be assessed by the advisory committee during a meeting on the 9th of December. We will then open voting in the leadup to christmas and announce our next partner, as selected by you, in time for the festive holiday.

We are very keen to make sure that you see causes you care about - whilst we work hard to find a spread of innovative and impactful charities working in many areas of health inequity, we'd love to hear if you have suggestions for someone we should consider for shortlisting. We've had awesome Impact from our partnership with Kombi Clinic.

We've just released a blog post going into detail about the fantastic work we're doing to support Kombi Clinics test-and-teat Hep C programs for vulnerable commuities in Queensland. Our $11k donation has funded GeneXpert cartridges allowing for test and cure for more than 700 people! Read more about it here.

We will let you know when the voting process is open for our shortlisted partners in mid December; keep an eye out on our socials and on your emails.

We'll also be looking to bring in new givers as the 2025 work year begins with a fresh crew of interns. Tell your mates about what we do, direct them to our website, and help us grow - we all have a part to play in tackling Health Inequity!
