What is it?
We share your vision of supporting important causes whilst having the time constraints of a junior doctor. We know you've spent enough time in the health system to see the real impacts of health inequity.
We believe that giving 1% - a tiny amount for each individual - can make a significant impact when we work together.
One For Health exists to harness the power of giving better together to support solutions to complex health inequities.
How does it work?
Join with the donating link above. Donations to One For Health are tax deductible. We suggest 1% of your wage but you can nominate any recurring amount.
We pool money from our givers to make donations to partner organisations at set times throughout the year, depending on the amount of money we've raised. We use donations to fund these partners who are already working in a community that experiences health inequity. We'll work with our partners to help you see the tangible impact of your donations.
Our community of givers vote to decide who the partner organisations will be each giving cycle. We take nominations for a shortlist which is deliberated on by our Advisory Committee against set criteria. You can get involved by nominating partner organisations for consideration here

Under the hood
We've partnered with a pro-bono legal team to establish a company limited by guarantee (One For Health Ltd), listed as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commssion (ACNC).
One For Health Limited has set up a public ancillary fund to receive your donations, and distribute our contributions to partner organisations at set times throughout the year. This fund basically means that we are required by law to give our donations away to other charities.
Your 1% (or any) pledge to this fund will be tax-deductible, and your vote will decide who our partner organisations will be through the year.
Our team is supported by an Advisory Committee - a group of experienced professionals to mentor and assist with important decisions.
